Yesterday, the Skier had really trouble getting up to speed and our skiway was bumpy as well, so it took several attempts to get airborne. But they left with all the cargo we had lined up since last year to be taken out of EGRIP. Hurray.
On the down side, our skiway was downgraded. We groomed it in the evening, and today, the Skier was a happy bird. It got airborne using only a fraction of our skiway. The plane came with more repair kit for the broken plane; but there were also a few tidbits for us: Some food and some parts we need. Repairs are progressing nicely, and the mechanics are getting a lot of fresh air.
The traverse gave an In-Reach position during the day.
