June 12: Plane at EGRIP repaired, it flies out tomorrow, and the traverse train returned to EGRIP

A lot of things happened today, almost at once. The Skier today brought the last items to complete repair of the aircraft here. They gave us fuel so we are ready for the big move. Just after Skier 42 departed, the traverse train from Summit Station arrived and we said hello to: Florian, Anna Maria and Anders. The Green2Ice EGRIP move team is now complete. With the 109th repair crew, we are now 24 persons in camp. Tomorrow, the 109th will return with an extra flight crew to man 02 and fly it out with the repair team on the extra flight. Later, a GEUS team will arrive in a Twin Otter to maintain their automatic weather station here.

The traverse was in In-Reach contact during the day.
