Saturday was the first day in a week where the dome didn’t move a whole day. The traverse train had stopped 500 m before the future camp. The science traverse team have done a nice job in placing their cargo and clearly marking the location of the GRIP borehole casing and positions of the old camp structures, now 15 m below the snow surface. Thank you to the science traverse team for doing a good job. We used the exposed GRIP borehole casing as a fix point for marking out positions for future GRIP camp structures. Snow foundation for the dome was made Saturday. Sunday afternoon, the dome was pulled the last 500 m onto it’s new parking spot and a berm was made for the carpenter’s garage. Now, the dome will not be moved anymore this season, so we cleaned up inside the dome and put many things back onto shelves.
What we over the weekend:
1. Repairing plastic on tank sled.
2. Transfer fuel from bladders to tank.
